Prostate Cancer Survivor Celebration 2009

Date: September 01, 2009

We had almost 200 in attendance. It was wonderful to see so many survivors and their families. Springfield City Councilman Fred Simmons presented us with a Letter of Support on behalf of Mayor Sid Leiken regarding prostate cancer awareness. KEZI-9 News even joined us to discuss the results of the bus event (12.5% screened were found to be suspicious for prostate cancer) as well as to help raise awareness. It was a wonderful event we hope to do again next year.
