Health Physics Northwest confirms that of the comparable Siemens scanners, OUI has the lowest dose, and of all makes of scanners in the Northwest region, patient dose is in the 12th-15th percentile.

As a full service center we offer CT's, Diagnostic X-rays and EKGs. Our imaging center can perform almost any X-rays ordered by your Primary Care Provider.

We often see patients the same day the appointment is made and have a quick radiology interpretation turn around time. Our imaging department is staffed with knowledgeable, caring professionals, whose goal IS to provide quality care in a timely manner.

Please Note: We have expanded our range of clinical offerings with the recent installation of our new CT Multi-slice scanner. Multi-slice CT is one of the most important developments in diagnostic imaging since it allows us to obtain highly detailed images with a very short breath hold, virtually eliminating motion artifacts and providing excellent diagnostic information.

What does is mean to be accredited?

The American College of Radiology (ACR), headquartered in Reston, VA., awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of the practice. Evaluations are conducted by board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in the field. They assess the qualifications of the personnel and the adequacy of facility equipment. The surveyors report their findings to the ACR's Committee on Accreditation, which subsequently provides the practice with a comprehensive report.

The ACR is a national organization serving more than 32,000 diagnostic and interventional radiologists, radiation oncologists, and nuclear medicine and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of medical imaging and radiation oncology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services.
