Preparing for Your Procedure Without Sedation

Procedures done in our procedure rooms without anesthesia:

A medical assistant will take you into the Procedure area, where they will review the procedure being done and will answer any questions you may have. They will also review any allergies you have to medications and will take your vital signs. Next you will be taken to a private room, where you may be asked to give a small urine sample. Your Physician or a Physician's Assistant will be the person preforming the procedure. If it would make you more comfortable, you are allowed one family member or friend to be in the room during the procedure. Due to no anesthesia being given, other than a numbing gel, you are ready to leave soon after the completion of the procedure. You will be given discharge instructions and informed of any follow-up care requested by your Physician.
